Job summary

CDM Recruitment Ltd, on behalf of a well-established architectural practice, is seeking a Proposals Executive to join the Communications team. You will coordinate and develop proposals, bids, credentials and presentations that help win new opportunities and raise the firm's profile.

No bid experience required; we value attitude and aptitude. You will work with colleagues across the business and with external partners, bringing strong writing, organisation and a proactive approach from day one.

Qualifications

• Open opportunity; bid or proposal experience not essential.
• Backgrounds in marketing/communications are welcomed.
• Strong organisational and written communication skills.
• Interest in architecture or built environment is a bonus.

About our client

CDM Recruitment is working with a well-established, growing architectural practice who work across a broad range of sectors within the built environment, and have built a strong reputation for high-quality, varied work.

The role

As Proposals Executive, you'll sit within our client's Communications team, helping to coordinate and develop the proposals, bids, credentials and presentations that win new opportunities and raise the practice's profile. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business and with external partners, contributing real work from day one.

What you'll bring

This is a genuinely open opportunity, bid or proposal experience is not essential. We're keen to hear from candidates with backgrounds in:

• Marketing or communications
• Business development
• Project management
• Professional services or another fast-paced environment
• Architectural training, looking for a different path

An interest in architecture, design, property or the built environment is a bonus, not a requirement. What matters most is how you work: excellent communication, strong organisation, a sharp eye for detail, sound judgement, and a positive, proactive approach to getting things done.
