Job summary

Arch Europe Insurance Services Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced underwriter to deliver efficient case underwriting and ensure alignment with guidelines and regulatory requirements. You will work with brokers and internal stakeholders to achieve financial objectives.

The role requires at least 2 years in underwriting, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to develop trading relationships across functions and with broking partners in the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum A level standard preferred.
• Progress towards Cert CII is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage own cases (renewal and new business) within appetite and authority.
• Handle referral cases with less experience per underwriting authority.
• Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions.
• Support QA procedures by conducting case reviews.
• Work towards retention, conversion, rate and loss ratio targets.
• Build relationships with broking partners and other organisations.
