Job summary

Carinity is seeking a Property Supervisor to lead grounds and maintenance across multiple sites in the Highfields area. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, ensuring properties are well-maintained and compliant, with focus on providing pleasant experiences for residents.

The successful candidate will supervise maintenance teams, oversee grounds upkeep for a Residential Aged Care site and a Retirement Village, and manage ad-hoc tasks while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Certified or significant experience in maintenance, carpentry/building or groundskeeping
• Demonstrated leadership and time management skills
• Experience in gardening/grounds maintenance and small machinery
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Fire Safety Advisor Certificate or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Oversee grounds and maintenance for multiple sites, including residential aged care and retirement village
• Ensure compliance with legislation and policies; perform scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance
• Lead Grounds and Maintenance staff with hands-on supervision and safe operation of small machinery

About The Role

If you have passion for maintaining properties & believe that places provide pleasant experiences to people, we have an exciting opportunity for you! The Property Supervisor is a unique role, providing hands-on leadership to Grounds and Maintenance staff working within the Brownesholme Cluster.

The position is responsible for ensuring all applicable legislative and policy requirements are met, scheduled, ad-hoc maintenance is performed, and the properties and grounds are in a presentable condition. This role's responsibilities include overseeing the grounds and maintenance for multiple sites, including a Residential Aged Care site and Retirement Village in the Highfields area.

What do you need for the role?

• Certification and/or significant experience in maintenance, carpentry/building, groundskeeping or trade-related fields
• Demonstrated leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge and/or experience in gardening and grounds maintenance
• Knowledge and/or experience in the maintenance of small machinery and equipment
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Fire Safety Advisor (FSA) Certificate or willingness to obtain
