Job summary

BlueCare is offering a student practical placement for Personal Carer roles at a service near you. Positions are permanent part-time or casual and will be discussed during pre-screening.

Remuneration is $34.50–$36.32 per hour, with superannuation, not-for-profit salary packaging, penalties and allowances, and employee discounts. As a Personal Carer you’ll support residents in daily living, follow individual Care Plans, and help with community activities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent is required.
• Experience with smartphones/tablets/laptops is expected.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain is required.

Responsibilities

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility.
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan.
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
