Henderson Scott Limited is recruiting a Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join the Summertown, Oxford team. You will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters and may undertake commercial property work where experience allows.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of residential property transactions including sales, purchases, freehold and leasehold matters, and remortgages.
• Advise clients on a range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
• Undertake commercial property matters including acquisitions, disposals, leases and refinancing where experience allows.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, introducers and professional contacts.
• Support partners with business development and growth of the Property team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Managing a caseload of residential property transactions including sales, purchases, freehold and leasehold matters, and remortgages.

You will likely have:

• Qualification as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or equivalent legal professional.
• Strong experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently.
• Experience working within the requirements of the CQS scheme.
• Commercial property experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Strong client care, communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to manage and prioritise a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
• A proactive and collaborative approach coupled with strong commercial awareness.
