Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen with Ocean Housing Group for a permanent, full-time Property Services Supervisor within our Property Services team.

The role involves overseeing the day-to-day management of contractors undertaking repair and maintenance work to our homes and estates. You will manage Damp, Mould, and Condensation surveys and works, allocating resources to ensure repairs are completed efficiently. A solid understanding of construction is essential to identify and report on emerging issues or risks and propose solutions. You should be communicative and organized, developing and maintaining contractor capacity, liaising with contractors to ensure works are completed, and monitoring budgets.

You will create a collaborative framework involving surveyors, schedulers, and works delivery teams (through contractors and internal stakeholders) to meet business demands. Building good working relationships to ensure all workers are customer-focused and committed to quality is essential.

We seek an individual experienced in managing contractors/subcontractors to deliver repairs and maintenance services to housing. A strong construction background and leadership skills to manage a multidisciplinary team are required to ensure quick turnaround times and customer satisfaction. A good understanding of health and safety policies is necessary to ensure compliance among internal and external stakeholders. As a confident communicator, you should be adaptable to different audiences and foster a positive work environment.
