A leading company in construction materials is seeking a Relief Plant Supervisor to oversee site operations, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintain efficient production processes. Reporting to the District Operations Manager, the Relief Plant Supervisor is responsible for the overall control of each site he/she is covering.
Main duties include the use of computer-based systems for batching and dispatch of concrete, engaging with customers face-to-face and on the phone, carrying out routine maintenance, supervising contractors and hauliers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the site in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act and Environmental Legislation.
Other key responsibilities include ensuring that the concrete produced is compliant with our quality scheme and maintaining housekeeping standards at the site.
Salary: £33,000 - £37,000 per annum, depending on experience
