Job description

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Property Sales Consultant to join our fast-paced, professional and dedicated Property Sales team. You will be responsible for the management and customer experience of a caseload of property sales and provide support and advice to sellers in order to ensure they obtain the best possible price for their house sale.

The Role

This Edinburgh based role is suitable for anyone wishing to start or continue their career in the Property / Estate Agency sector. Our Property Sales Consultants are highly motivated and organised individuals who pay close attention to detail when communicating with clients. Your key responsibility is to provide high quality, appropriate advice throughout the sales process and to build trust and confidence when handling notes of interest and offers on properties within your caseload. You will ensure that all communications are handled in a timely and professional manner and you will fully support your clients by offering the best possible strategies to optimise exposure in a cost-effective way. The position is very fast-paced and carries significant responsibilities. You will need to frequently discuss your caseload with Senior Negotiators and work closely with third-party Solicitors and paralegals to negotiate financial offers and restrictive clauses. You will work towards individual targeted incentives and successfully generate leads and promote products and services to our clients. Extensive training and managerial support is provided however excellent writing and typing skills are essential.

The Candidate

We are recruiting for an individual who has a professional and ambitious nature as well as a talent for communication and attention to detail. It is extremely beneficial to have a genuine interest in residential property and to have previously worked within the property sector although experience is not necessary. You will be diligent and confident when communicating with the general public and have previous experience in a customer facing role. Telephone sales experience is also beneficial.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

Highly experienced in a customer service role;

Superb written and spoken English skills;

An enthusiastic and polite telephone manner;

Excellent attention to detail;

A positive approach to all tasks;

Experience working in a fast pace team;

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

Experience in Property Sales / Estate Agency

Local property market knowledge;

A proven track record in working towards sales targets.

Remuneration Package:

Salary up to £28,500 per annum (depending upon experience) plus bonus. Standard working hours of work are 8.00am - 4.00pm and 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday on a week to week basis, with the occasional Saturday or Sunday shift allocated on a rota basis.

You will receive a monthly bonus based on hitting weekly and monthly, individual team targets as well as for generating leads for the business.
