Job summary

Jo Holdsworth Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Property Project Manager in Wilmslow with regular travel across the UK. You’ll manage multiple live property developments from planning through to handover, coordinating planning consultants, surveyors, and contractors.

You’ll join a fast-growing leisure business; 2–4 years’ experience required; driving licence essential and willingness to travel nationally; MRICS/MCIOB progress is a bonus.

Property Project Manager

Location: Wilmslow with regular travel across the UK

Salary: £35k - £45k plus car allowance

Are you an ambitious Project Manager looking to take greater ownership of live property developments?

We’re recruiting for a fast-growing, privately backed leisure business that is expanding its national estate. This is a varied client-side role managing multiple sites through planning, pre-construction, live delivery and operational handover.

Working within a small, fast-paced property team, you’ll coordinate planning consultants, surveyors, project managers and contractors, ensuring projects remain on track and potential delays are addressed quickly.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing several property projects simultaneously at different stages
• Coordinating planning applications, surveys, site access and consultant activity
• Maintaining project programmes and identifying risks or delays early
• Visiting sites regularly to monitor progress, quality and delivery
• Holding consultants and contractors accountable for actions and timescales
• Coordinating utilities, statutory approvals and enabling works
• Tracking costs, payment applications, variations and change control
• Managing snagging, handover documentation and operational mobilisation
• Supporting early site assessments and project appraisals
• Producing clear weekly updates covering progress, costs, risks and next steps

What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally have around two to four years’ experience in property development, project management, building surveying, construction or a related discipline.

You’ll also need:

• Experience coordinating external consultants and contractors
• A practical understanding of UK planning and pre-construction processes
• Confidence working on active construction sites
• The ability to understand project programmes, drawings, specifications and costs
• Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive approach and confidence chasing actions when progress is at risk

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally, including occasional overnight stays

Experience within a client-side, multi-site, leisure, hospitality or retail environment would be particularly useful, as would progress towards MRICS, MCIOB or another relevant professional qualification.
