Property Account Director (Planning Comms)

Are you an experienced Property Planning Communications Senior Account Manager looking to step up to Account Director? If so, read on!

This firm is a market-leading, independently owned, fast-paced agency passionate about regeneration and place-making. They work with some of the biggest and brightest companies to deliver homes, jobs, and places in London and the South East.

As Account Director, your role is to manage your client accounts daily, delivering high-quality activities that demonstrate the agency's commitment to adding value in all your activities.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Managing, with support and guidance, consultation and corporate communication programmes for a wide range of property, public sector, and corporate clients.
  2. Supporting and briefing client teams.
  3. Being well-versed in all aspects of the planning and property landscape, demonstrating an up-to-date understanding of delivering communication activities throughout the project timeline.
  4. Preparing client-ready collateral and advising on delivering strategies and associated programmes successfully.
  5. Assisting in organizing public exhibition events, including venue bookings, distribution maps, Q&As, and rolling out stakeholder contact programmes.
  6. Acting as a mentor and day-to-day contact for junior consultants.
  7. Overseeing projects and ensuring junior team members deliver consistent, high-quality material and content.
  8. Developing an understanding of the commercial drivers for clients and the business as a whole.
  9. Managing client/project budgets effectively.

Emerging skills to progress to Senior Account Manager:

  1. Managing project costs and preparing content for monthly invoicing.
  2. Understanding key client stakeholders deeply.
  3. Delivering creative ideas and insights, and identifying organic growth opportunities.
  4. Mentoring the wider team to develop skills.
  5. Preparing training as part of the Kanda development programme.
  6. Developing strategic roles within the client team and advising on project risks and opportunities.
