Job Description:
A high-profile West-end family office is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee their luxury property collection. This role is suitable for someone at the Manager level or looking to advance their career.
The Portfolio Manager will work closely with the Property Director and the family office team to ensure properties are maintained, managed securely, and presented to the highest standards, whether for family use, guests, or lettings.
- Assist the Property Director with daily operational management of the London residential property portfolio.
- Serve as the main liaison between household staff, family office, contractors, and suppliers on property matters.
Property Readiness for Family and Guests
- Prepare properties for family members, guests, and VIP visitors, often on short notice.
- Coordinate with staff and external providers to ensure residences are impeccably presented and operational.
Planned and Reactive Maintenance Management
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance, compliance, and presentation issues.
- Oversee scheduled maintenance, ensuring quality and documentation.
- Manage reactive maintenance issues, liaising with contractors for timely resolution.
- Research, vet, and manage suppliers and contractors, ensuring work meets standards, deadlines, and budgets.
Lettings & Tenancy Oversight
- Manage relationships with estate agents and legal advisors for lettings, renewals, and rent reviews.
- Maintain property market position and secure premium tenants where applicable.
About You:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in property management, maintenance oversight, and lettings, especially in super prime residential properties.
- Experience managing super prime rentals and tenants in Central London prime postcodes.
- Technical knowledge of operating plant and equipment, including AC systems, boilers, lighting controls, and smart home systems (e.g., Lutron, Crestron).
- Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues, tenants, suppliers, and advisors.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a service-oriented, hands-on approach.
