Opportunity: Commercial Property Portfolio Manager

Locations: Birmingham, Manchester, Exeter, or London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Portfolio Manager to join a well-established international law firm with offices across the UK, Middle East, and Asia. This company stands out in the legal sector with its partner-led service and fresh approach to a diverse range of clients from global brands to local SMEs. The Property Portfolio Manager role is multifaceted, offering the chance to work across Real Estate, Capital Projects, and Operations, while contributing to the company’s commitment to sustainability and excellence.

The Property Portfolio Manager will play a crucial role in managing the firm’s real estate portfolio, ensuring effective budget management, lease administration, and supporting the Head of Property. This position is ideal for a professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the selection, evaluation, acquisition, and management of office space in line with company policy.
  • Develop and maintain a diary for upcoming lease events, ensuring timely actions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and external consultants to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and management of the Real Estate Investment Plan.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and building regulations across all projects.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to influence others.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional data management skills.
  • Proven ability to balance operational delivery with medium to long-term strategic planning.
  • Experience in business planning within facilities and real estate is advantageous.
  • RICS qualification or a degree in Real Estate or Business Management is desirable.
