Job summary

Awaze is seeking a Software Engineer for the Property Platform to design, build and operate reliable services that move property information between systems. You’ll work across backend services, APIs and cloud infrastructure to support websites, apps and internal tooling.

Collaborating with product, design and engineering, you’ll apply modern tech like TypeScript, AWS and Docker, participate in CI/CD and testing, and help shape scalable data flows that deliver accurate, timely property data for

Qualifications

• Commercial experience building backend applications and APIs.
• Experience with backend in TypeScript (Node.js) plus Python/Java.
• Cloud experience with AWS.
• Understanding of distributed systems or data integrations.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern engineering practices.
• Focus on testing, clean code and craftsmanship.
• Collaborative and proactive learning mindset.
• Confidence using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain APIs, backend services and data pipelines for the Property platform.
• Contribute to front-end applications when required, across the full stack.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers to deliver value.
• Work with TypeScript, AWS and Docker.
• Contribute to CI/CD, testing, observability and delivery practices.
• Monitor and improve production health, reliability and performance.
