Scroll Home, a London-based video-first property discovery app, is seeking a Senior/Staff Backend Developer to join a hybrid team in London. You will own core backend APIs, scale data pipelines, and lead architecture for feeds, real-time workflows, and video delivery as the product grows.

The role demands 10+ years of backend experience with consumer-scale systems, plus a track record of end-to-end ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years backend engineering experience shipping consumer products at scale.
• Experience designing and scaling data-intensive apps (feeds, real-time workflows, high-throughput pipelines).
• Familiar with AI tools in daily workflow to accelerate delivery.
• Comfortable owning systems end-to-end in a small, fast-moving team.
