Job summary

Macdonald & Company is seeking a Property Manager for a growing Build to Rent operator in Greater Manchester. In this role, you will manage lettings and provide outstanding property management services across residential developments.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience in property management, a good understanding of relevant legislation, and strong communication and customer service skills. A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Property Manager - Residential (BTR) Developer

Location: Greater Manchester (with occasional travel)

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager to join a growing Build to Rent operator. You will be responsible for delivering lettings and property management services across residential developments while providing an exceptional resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage lettings, tenancy administration, referencing, Right to Rent checks, move-ins, and deposit registration.
• Conduct property inspections and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with property legislation and health & safety requirements.
• Manage tenancy renewals, rent reviews, check-outs, and deposit returns.
• Deliver excellent customer service, resolve resident queries, and organise resident events.
• Maintain accurate records and work closely with operational, marketing, and finance teams.

About You

• Minimum 2 years' experience in property management or residential lettings.
• Good understanding of tenancy legislation and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
• Professional qualification (ARLA, RICS, IRPM) or working towards one is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
