Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Property Manager (Field-based) to join a growing property team. This role involves inspecting properties, coordinating maintenance, ensuring compliance, and building relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' experience in property management or maintenance, a good understanding of landlord/tenant responsibilities and safety regulations, strong organisational skills, and a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience within Property Management or Property Maintenance.
• Good understanding of landlord and tenant responsibilities and property safety regulations.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to manage your own workload effectively.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine property inspections, including check-in, mid-term, and check-out visits.
• Identify maintenance issues and arrange repairs through approved contractors.
• Monitor maintenance progress and ensure works are completed to a high standard.
• Assess property condition, recording findings with detailed notes and photographs.
• Identify and report health and safety concerns, including fire safety, damp and mould, and general property condition.
• Liaise professionally with landlords, tenants, contractors, and property managers.
• Maintain accurate records and update property management systems.

About the Role

This role involves carrying out property inspections, coordinating maintenance works, monitoring compliance, and building strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
