Job summary

Career Studio is seeking a Property Manager to join a well-established estate and lettings agency in the Shrewsbury/Telford area. You will manage a residential portfolio, handle maintenance issues, generate new and renew tenancies, and oversee gas safety certificates, EPCs and EICRs, ensuring compliance and tenant-landlord liaison.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in property management, a proven ability to meet deadlines, and a proactive, professional attitude.

Our client is a well-established, multi-branch, independent estate and lettings agent that provides a fully encompassing lettings and property sales at a local level. They are a market-leading and trusted property brand. They are currently looking for an experienced Property Manager with a proven track record in the management of a residential portfolio.

Main Duties

• Assist with the management of allocated property portfolio in order to maximise office income including the retention of properties and clients.
• Assist with the management of all property maintenance issues.
• Generate new and renew tenancies.
• Organise the renewal of gas safety certificates, EPC's and EICR's as required.
• Negotiate between tenant and landlord deposit returns and administer paperwork.
• Liaise with landlords and negotiate with contractors for works to be carried out on managed properties.
• Effectively communicate face to face, by telephone and e-mails.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of 2 years working within property management role.
