This is a dynamic role offering exposure to a broad range of property management activities, with opportunities to develop your knowledge and build your career within a leading national property consultancy.

We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including 25 days' annual leave, matched pension contributions, life assurance, and flexible benefits such as additional holiday purchase, health cash plans, and a cycle-to-work scheme. We also support flexible and agile working to help you balance your career and personal commitments.

Main Tasks

  • Oversee leasing and lettings activity, including rent reviews and lease renewals.
  • Support the acquisition and onboarding of new properties into management portfolios.
  • Assist with the identification and disposal of surplus assets where appropriate.
  • Manage the collection of rents and other income, including monitoring and pursuing arrears.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Management team to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance requirements are met.
  • Coordinate repair, maintenance, and improvement works, liaising with tenants and contractors, arranging access, and monitoring completion.
  • Maintain accurate property and financial records using property management systems, including TRAMPS.
  • Undertake regular property inspections and site visits.
  • Identify and support asset management initiatives that enhance property performance and value.
  • Assist in identifying strategic development opportunities across client portfolios.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate, timely reports and management information for clients.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant property legislation and industry best practice.
  • Undertake site-based tasks as required, including meter readings, fire alarm testing, contractor meetings, and basic property inspections.
What Will It Take to Be Successful?
  • Experience in residential property management, with confidence in dealing with clients, tenants, and contractors.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the ability to quickly learn specialist software systems.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the confidence to use initiative while seeking support when needed.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong motivation, enthusiasm, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • A positive, flexible, and professional attitude that contributes to a supportive team culture.
  • Knowledge of property compliance requirements and CDM regulations would be advantageous, although not essential.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client properties when required.
