Job summary

Proper Recruitment is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a busy East London portfolio for a successful independent estate agent. You will manage a varied property portfolio, liaise with landlords and tenants, and collaborate with the branch to ready properties for new tenancies.

The role requires IT literacy, strong communication, time management, and a full UK driving licence is beneficial. ARLA qualification is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven background in property management and a broad knowledge of the industry.
• Experience managing a property portfolio and coordinating tenancy readiness.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of properties.
• Work with the branch to prepare properties for new tenancies.
• Respond to tenants' maintenance requests.
• Ensure properties meet regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Undertake inspections and oversee refurbishment works.
• Negotiate deposit returns and deliver excellent customer service.

Role: Property Manager

Proper Recruitment are delighted to be working with a successful independent estate agent that are looking for a Property Manager to oversee their property management portfolio from their busy branch in East London.

Responsibilities:

• Management of a portfolio of properties
• Work with the branch to prepare properties for a new tenancies
• Respond to tenants maintenance requests
• Ensure properties meet their regulatory and statutory requirements
• Undertake inspections
• Organise/oversee refurbishment works
• Negotiate the prompt return of deposits
• Deliver excellent customer service and communication
• Build trusted relationships with colleagues, landlords, tenants and contractors

Requirements:

• IT literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Have a proven background in property management and an all-round knowledge of the industry
• Experience with a portfolio
• Ambitious, dynamic and motivated
• Great communicator
• Excellent time management
• Full clean UK driving licence and own car beneficial but not essential
• ARLA Qualification a benefit but not a requirement

Salary:

• Circa £40,000 per annum
