Job summary

JPS PROPERTY MAINTENANCE LIMITED is offering a Property Maintenance Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship in the South East London and Kent area. You will gain hands-on experience across trades while training with London South East Colleges, with a typical 2-year duration and a salaried apprenticeship (£14,560 per year).

Hours are Mon-Fri, 08:00-16:00, with work on various client sites and practical on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• GCSEs required including English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a hands-on trade environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organisation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced tradespeople with property maintenance and repair work.
• Carry out basic carpentry, painting and decorating, plumbing and general building maintenance tasks.
• Prepare materials, tools and work areas before starting work.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance to residential and commercial properties.
• Learn to use a range of hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Travel to customer sites with colleagues.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working in occupied properties.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Complete apprenticeship coursework and training activities.
