Job summary

Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions is seeking a newly qualified Solicitor to join a Land and Property Dispute Resolution team in Stoke-on-Trent. You will handle matters under supervision, supporting senior fee earners while building confidence in property litigation.

Qualifications

• Newly Qualified Solicitor with an interest in property litigation.
• Some commercial property litigation experience or strong contentious property seat during training.
• Exposure to a range of property litigation matters including real property, landlord/tenant, and contractual disputes.
• Confidence managing a caseload with appropriate supervision and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Managing matters under supervision and delivering an excellent client experience.
• Drafting correspondence and court documents.
• Liaising with the Court, instructing counsel and experts.
• Attending hearings and all-party meetings.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting other team members and supervising junior colleagues where appropriate.
• Developing technical and commercial expertise in property litigation.
• Working collaboratively within the team and across the wider firm.
• Promoting the firm’s values internally and externally.
