Job summary

Lexel is seeking a Property Litigation Associate Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE to join their Brighton-area team on a hybrid basis. You will manage a busy caseload in housing litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, section 8 matters, and related commercial issues, while supporting partners on larger matters.

The role requires IT proficiency and strong client communication. Competitive salary £40,000–£70,000 DOE plus benefits and a private healthcare package.

Qualifications

• Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with 3+ years' PQE.
• IT literate, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet applications.
• Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and social proactivity.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day to day running of a caseload
• Be able to support the partners on more large and complex matters
• Supervise more junior members of the team including paralegals
• Get involved in marketing and business development in a client focused manner
• Be able to interact directly with clients, manage their expectations, and meet their deadlines
