Job summary

Lexel is seeking a Property Litigation Associate Solicitor to join its client’s team in the Brighton area. The ideal candidate will handle housing litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, and related matters with a view to delivering commercial, client-focused results.

You will manage day-to-day caseloads, assist partners on complex matters, supervise juniors, and participate in business development. Hybrid working is on offer with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with 3+ years' PQE.
• IT literate, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet applications.
• Commercial awareness and proactive approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day to day running of a caseload.
• Support partners on larger, more complex matters.
• Supervise more junior team members including paralegals.
• Involve in marketing and business development with clients.
• Interact with clients, manage expectations and meet deadlines.
