William James Recruitment is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor to join its Lancashire team. You will manage a varied caseload of commercial and residential property disputes, advising on landlord and tenant matters and drafting court documents.

Qualifications

• 4+ years PQE in property litigation.
• Experience across landlord & tenant, real property and contractual disputes.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of commercial and residential property disputes with autonomy.
• Advise on landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals, dilapidations, break clauses and forfeiture.
• Handle disputes involving restrictive covenants, easements, rights of light, trespass and possession.
• Work on property-related contractual disputes and professional negligence claims.
• Draft correspondence and court documents and liaise with the Court throughout proceedings.
• Instruct counsel and experts and attend hearings and all-party meetings.
• Build strong client relationships and delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice.
• Support junior colleagues and contributing to business development and the continued growth of the property litigation offering.

A highly regarded and award-winning regional law firm is looking for an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join its growing Land and Property Dispute Resolution team in any of the firm's offices in the Lancashire area.

Recognised in the Legal 500 for its technical expertise and high-quality commercial advice, the team acts for an impressive mix of businesses, property developers, investors, commercial occupiers and individuals across England.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Property Litigation Solicitor in Lancashire with 4+ years PQE to manage a varied caseload of high-quality contentious property matters while benefiting from genuine investment in career development, a strong people-focused culture and a notably achievable chargeable-hours target.

The Role:

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property disputes with appropriate autonomy
• Advising on landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals, dilapidations, break clauses and forfeiture

The Candidate:

• Ideally 4+ years PQE as a qualified Solicitor with strong property litigation experience
• Experience across landlord and tenant, real property and contractual property disputes
• Confident managing a caseload with an appropriate level of supervision and autonomy
• Commercially minded with strong technical ability and excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organisation, planning, drafting and communication skills
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships
• An interest in business development and contributing to the continued growth of the team
• Based within commutable distance and willing to travel between offices when required
