Zero Surplus in Hertfordshire is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor to join our established litigation team. The role focuses on contentious property matters, including service charge and ground rent disputes, with the chance to handle 100+ matters in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have 3+ years' property litigation experience (PQE 1+ year acceptable) and strong organisational, prioritisation and advocacy skills. Hybrid working two days from home per week.
An excellent opportunity is available for a Property Litigation Solicitor to join an established and highly experienced litigation team in Hertfordshire.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience working within property litigation, although applications will also be considered from solicitors with less direct experience who can demonstrate a strong understanding of the area and the ability to quickly develop.
You will handle a high volume of contentious property matters, with the team's core workload centred around service charge and ground rent disputes, alongside wider landlord and tenant litigation. This is a fast-paced environment where you will be trusted with a substantial caseload and will need to be comfortable managing multiple matters simultaneously.
You will become part of a litigation team of approximately 20+ staff, led by a Legal Director.
This is a genuinely high-volume litigation environment. Solicitors can manage caseloads of 100+ matters, so this opportunity is best suited to someone who is comfortable working at pace, managing competing deadlines and dealing with a significant volume of cases.

The role operates on a hybrid basis, with most of the team working approximately 2 days from home per week. During your first three months, there will be a greater expectation to work from the Hertford office to support integration and development, although there is flexibility for the right individual. Commuting from London is viable due to the offices close proximity to a local train station
