Job summary

Lexel, a client of Law Staff Limited, based in the Brighton area, seeks a Property Litigation Associate Solicitor with 3+ years PQE to strengthen their team. Hybrid working is available.

You will handle housing litigation, landlord-tenant matters, injunctions, possession claims, and related disputes while supporting partners on complex matters and supervising junior staff. The role offers a competitive salary and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with 3+ years' PQE.
• IT literate, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet applications.
• Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and social proactivity.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to convey clear and concise information.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day to day running of a caseload
• Be able to support the partners on more large and complex matters
• Supervise more junior members of the team including paralegals
• Get involved in marketing and business development in a client focused manner
• Be able to interact directly with clients, manage their expectations, and meet their deadlines
