Job summary

CRA Legal is recruiting an experienced Property Litigation Fee Earner to join its Chesterfield team. The role involves managing a varied caseload of property disputes from initial instruction through to resolution, with autonomy and support from an established firm.

You will handle landlord/tenant, boundary and other property disputes, developing strong client relationships within the property disputes team. Hybrid working options are offered.

Role: Property Litigation Fee Earner
Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Contract: Full time, permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

A leading and well-established law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Property Litigation Fee Earner / Property Litigator to join its growing property disputes team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor, legal executive or experienced fee earner with a strong background in property litigation and disputes to take on a varied caseload and work alongside an experienced team of legal professionals.

The successful candidate will have genuine autonomy over their matters, while benefiting from the support and resources of an established firm.

The Role

You will handle a varied caseload of property litigation matters, acting for a range of clients across contentious property issues.
Your work may include:

• Landlord and tenant disputes
• Boundary and neighbour disputes
• Possession and forfeiture proceedings
• Leasehold disputes
• Easements, restrictive covenants and rights of way
• Property-related contractual disputes
• Dilapidations
• Trespass and nuisance
• Disputes arising from the sale and purchase of property
• General contentious property matters

You will have the opportunity to manage matters from initial instruction through to resolution, developing strong client relationships and playing an important role within the wider property disputes team.

About You

• Previous experience handling property litigation / property disputes
• A solid understanding of contentious property matters
• The ability to manage a caseload with a good degree of autonomy
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• A commercial and client-focused approach
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
