An established legal firm is seeking an experienced property lawyer to join their dynamic team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This role presents a unique opportunity to work with top clients in the residential development sector, providing comprehensive legal advice throughout the lifecycle of new build housing projects. Candidates with 2-5 years PQE in residential property law will thrive in this supportive and ambitious environment, collaborating with a talented team of professionals. If you are passionate about property law and looking to make a significant impact, this role is perfect for you.
My client acts for 18 of the top 20 housebuilders in the United Kingdom in addition to institutional landowners and other large-scale sector participants. There is now an opportunity for an experienced property lawyer with good residential development experience (ideally with between 2–5 years PQE) to join the team based out of either their Leeds or Newcastle office.
The successful candidate will work alongside a number of highly successful partners and engage in top-quality work which involves advising clients over the entire lifespan of new build housing (e.g. terms, land acquisition, planning, building out and sale).
With a team that spreads across 8 offices and with over 240 members of the team, which also form part of a wider department of over 700 professionals from the property sector, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make an impact in a successful and ambitious legal team.
Candidates applying for this role will have between 2–5 years of PQE. However, any candidate with slightly less/more PQE but with strong residential property law experience / a real and demonstrable passion for this work should also consider applying.
My client offers a wonderfully supportive culture and is well-placed in the market to provide an ambitious lawyer with the work and environment they can thrive in.
