Job summary

John Shepherd, part of Lomond, the UK's leading network of lettings and estate agencies, is seeking a Property Inspector for a full-time, permanent role in Solihull. You will attend properties to complete inventories, mid-term and checkout inspections, and draft detailed reports, ensuring maintenance needs and risks are communicated to management.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, exceptional attention to detail, and strong communication skills, with a driving license

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Great attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
• Methodical, organized and detail oriented.
• Willing to work alone in various properties.
• Driving license is essential for the role.
• Experience in property management/surveying/housing is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend properties to complete inventories, mid-term inspections and checkout inspections, and draft comprehensive reports.
• Highlight maintenance needs and potential health & safety/compliance risks to Property Management for immediate action.
• Provide on-site customer service by liaising with tenants and documenting issues.
