Job summary

Specialist Recruit in Reigate is seeking a Property Facilities Manager to own maintenance across a varied portfolio in Surrey and Kent. You will work closely with a Facilities Administrator handling health and safety records, ensuring contractor coordination and tenancy support.

The role is hands-on and client-facing, with ownership of maintenance planning, budgeting, and contractor management in a small team. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience; health and safety qualifications are a benefit but not essential.
• Good people-handling skills with clients, tenants and contractors.
• Confident use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
• Team player in a small, friendly team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain processes and records for client properties relating to property maintenance.
• Manage databases for cyclical maintenance and property compliance records.
• Identify and review new contractors, assist with tendering, quotations and contractor invoicing.
• Respond to tenant calls, emails and direct contact, procure maintenance and repair work.
• Attend client properties for regular inspection.
• Prepare annual service charge budgets and forecast to year end.
• Plan and implement contract and cyclical works.
• Monitor maintenance budget spending.
• Work cooperatively with the wider team and handle enquiries including out-of-hours work.

Property Facilities Manager

Reigate, Surrey GBP35,000 Full-time, 37.5 hours

Our client, a small and friendly property management company, is looking for a Property Facilities Manager to join their team, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

You’ll take ownership of planned and reactive maintenance across a varied portfolio of predominantly commercial property across Surrey, Kent and the surrounding areas, with support from a Facilities Administrator handling diary management for health and safety and risk assessment work.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and being the person contractors, tenants and clients turn to when something needs sorting.

What you’ll be doing

• Maintaining processes and records for client properties relating to property maintenance.
• Managing databases for cyclical maintenance and property compliance records.
• Identifying and reviewing new contractors, and assisting with tendering, quotations and contractor invoicing.
• Responding to tenant calls, emails and direct contact, identifying and procuring maintenance and repair work.
