We are looking for an Associate to join our highly regarded Real Estate Disputes & Risk team in London.
This is a great opportunity to join a team who are seeing significant growth in work and a chance to build relationships with some fantastic clients whilst working in a collaborative team environment. You will be joining a successful firm with a collegiate and supportive culture, which makes it a rewarding place to work.
Our specialist Real Estate Disputes lawyers excel in helping clients resolve all kinds of disputes ranging from all aspects of residential and commercial landlord and tenant work to complex and highly technical development and land rights disputes. The team handles cases at all levels of the Court system, as well as before Tribunals and arbitration panels. The practice also provides advice on risk mitigation and management in the context of potential disputes and property related regulation.
We have a premier client base and support these clients on a range of market leading cases. Clients include British Land, Stanhope, Barratt Homes, Greystar, GLP, Topland, and Nuveen.
This role will primarily be supporting the Partners and senior fee earners within the London team, across a variety of areas, including residential, commercial landlord and tenant disputes and development/land rights issues.
Due to the technical nature of the practice, we are looking for candidates who have worked within a recognised and respected Real Estate Litigation team and have a good track record in proactively managing a varied caseload. You will be able to demonstrate excellent client service and proactive case management. You will also have strong technical legal skills together with an enthusiasm for getting to know a client's sector. You will also need to embrace collaborative team working as well as working on your own matters. Finally, evidence of having supervised more junior team members would also be an advantage.
As a guide, due to the nature of the work and the structure of the team, we are looking to appoint an Associate in this area, although we will consider candidates with more or less experience.
Like all our lawyers, you will benefit from our multi-award winning career development programme. At each stage of your career this provides you with:
