We are seeking an Associate to join our highly regarded Real Estate Disputes & Risk team in London.

The practice
Our specialist Real Estate Disputes lawyers excel in resolving all types of disputes, including residential and commercial landlord and tenant issues, as well as complex development and land rights disputes. The team handles cases across all levels of the Court system, tribunals, and arbitration panels. We also advise on risk mitigation and management related to property disputes and regulation.
Our client base includes British Land, Stanhope, Barratt Homes, Greystar, GLP, Topland, and Nuveen, supporting them on market-leading cases.
The role
This role involves supporting Partners and senior fee earners in the London team across various areas, including landlord and tenant disputes, development, and land rights issues.
The wider team
Led by Leona Briggs, rated in Chambers and Partners and Legal 500, the team spans Bristol and London, comprising 5 Partners, 2 Legal Directors, 8 Associate Directors, 9 Senior Associates, 7 Associates, 3 Trainee Solicitors, 2 Solicitor Apprentices, 9 Paralegals, and a Legal Manager.
Technical skills and experience
Candidates should have experience within a recognized Real Estate Litigation team, with a proven track record of managing a varied caseload proactively. Excellent client service, strong legal skills, enthusiasm for sector-specific knowledge, and collaborative working are essential. Supervisory experience of junior team members is advantageous.
We are looking to appoint an Associate in this area, but candidates with more or less experience will also be considered.
