Job summary

DWF is expanding its Commercial Insurance team in the UK, seeking a Solicitor or Associate to advise on property damage claims. The role covers first‑party and third‑party property damage, policy coverage, and subrogated recoveries, with a hybrid working arrangement across offices including Leeds and Manchester.

You will manage a varied caseload, work with a prestigious client base, and contribute to a team handling complex insurance disputes.

Qualifications

• Experience handling an insurance property related caseload including third‑party property damage and policy coverage.
• Proven ability to manage cases to deadlines and communicate complex issues to clients.
• Ability to coach and develop junior colleagues within a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of property related claims and assist on large loss matters.
• Analyse risk and justify decisions to clients internally and externally.
• Prioritise work to maximise efficiency and manage time effectively.
• Build relationships to develop business networks and understand client needs.
• Provide support as the go‑to person for more junior team members.
