Job summary

DWF is expanding its Commercial Insurance team and seeking a Solicitor or Associate to advise on property damage claims, including first‑party damage, third‑party damage, product liability, and policy coverage across a varied caseload.

The role offers hybrid working with bases in regional offices such as Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds or Liverpool, and opportunities to develop within a collaborative environment while handling high‑quality matters for prestigious clients.

Qualifications

• Experience handling insurance property related caseload including first-party property damage (FPPD) and third-party property damage (TPPD).
• Experience with product liability and policy coverage matters is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and manage expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of property related claims and assist on larger matters.
• Understand client requirements and work within SLAs and best practices.
• Analyse risk and justify decisions to clients and internal teams.
• Prioritise work to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines.
• Build relationships to develop networks and understand client needs.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
