Job summary

Marks Consulting Partners is looking for a senior surveying professional to inspect properties, diagnose defects and manage disrepair cases to successful completion. You will specify works, follow policy and probity requirements, including NHF Schedule of Rates, and ensure timely delivery under Awaab's Law.

The role requires a surveying qualification or 5 years experience, strong knowledge of HHSRS, and excellent client-focused communication. A UK driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Surveying qualification or 5+ years in surveying role.
• Awaab's Law and HHSRS knowledge required.
• Strong diagnostic and multi-issue case management skills.
• Ability to decide scope of works and delivery timescales.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties and diagnose defects, manage cases to completion.
• Specify and manage works per policy, using NHF Schedule of Rates.
• Instruct works aligned with Awaab's Law timelines.
• Cost-benefit analysis with Asset Management.
• Update case management systems with findings/actions.
• Deploy IoT sensors and explain findings to customers.
• Post inspections to verify works and review variations for value.
• Liaise with teams and external contractors to meet deadlines and budgets.
