Job summary

The Oyster Partnership is assisting a Midlands Local Authority in recruiting a Disrepair Surveyor to manage housing disrepair claims from inception to resolution, conduct property inspections, and prepare schedules of work.

You will produce technical reports for legal proceedings, work with legal teams, contractors and stakeholders, monitor remedial works, and ensure compliance with housing legislation and standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience handling housing disrepair cases.
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation and repairs obligations.
• Experience working within Local Authority or Social Housing environments.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
