Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Damp, Mould & Disrepair Surveyor to support a social housing provider in the West Midlands. This interim role lasts 6 months with a daily rate available on application, focused on inspecting residential properties for damp, mould, and disrepair, diagnosing defects, and producing detailed survey reports and remedial recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience surveying damp, mould and disrepair in social housing.
• Strong knowledge of building pathology, repairs and property maintenance.
• Experience producing technical reports and specifications of works.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle where required.
• Relevant surveying qualification desirable

• Managing disrepair cases and supporting legal claims where required.
• Liaising with residents, contractors, and internal teams to ensure works are delivered effectively.

• Providing technical advice and ensuring properties meet relevant housing and health standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience surveying damp, mould, and disrepair cases within social housing.
• Strong knowledge of building pathology, repairs, and property maintenance.
