Job summary

IPS Group Limited in Leeds is seeking a Claims Handler to join its property/liability claims team. This role focuses on Property claims with exposure to Employers' Liability and Public Liability, handling investigations, wordings reviews, and broker relationships.

You will manage your own caseload end-to-end, assess coverage, and strive for fair, proactive settlements within a supportive, technical claims environment. Permanent, with benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in claims handling, preferably property claims.
• Good understanding of policy coverage and wording interpretation.
• Experience handling claims through to settlement.
• Ability to build and maintain broker relationships.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility and accountability for your own caseload of claims, with a focus on Property claims.
• Handle claims from first notification through to final settlement.
• Review and apply policy wordings to determine coverage and outcomes.
• Manage claims proactively, prioritising workloads and meeting service standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key brokers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to team projects and wider departmental initiatives.
