Tate Recruitment is recruiting for a Property Assistant to support a major UK retail client with a substantial portfolio across the UK and Europe, in a role that goes beyond traditional administration.

You'll work with the UK Key Account Manager and European account team, handling reporting, onboarding projects, and client service delivery, with opportunities to develop and take on increasing responsibility in a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 12 months' experience in property administration or related environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data.
  • Proactive approach and ability to take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support reporting, financial administration, onboarding projects and client service delivery.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and meeting documentation.
  • Track actions and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain portfolio trackers and management information.
  • Analyse data to identify trends or discrepancies and support KPI reporting.
  • Assist with invoicing and budgeting activities.

The Role

Working closely with the UK Key Account Manager and wider European account team, you'll help ensure the smooth running of a large commercial property portfolio by supporting reporting, financial administration, onboarding projects and client service delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:

Client & Account Support
  • Supporting senior account managers and surveyors across the portfolio
  • Coordinating client requests and stakeholder communications
  • Preparing reports, presentations and meeting documentation
  • Tracking actions and ensuring deadlines are met
Reporting & Analysis
  • Producing monthly and quarterly client reporting
  • Maintaining portfolio trackers and management information
  • Analysing data and identifying trends or discrepancies
  • Supporting KPI reporting and performance monitoring
Property Administration
  • Assisting with the onboarding and mobilisation of new properties
  • Managing property records and portfolio databases
  • Supporting compliance and due diligence activities
  • Supporting budgeting and CapEx reporting processes
  • Assisting with invoicing and fee tracking
  • Monitoring expenditure and reporting variances
Projects & Process Improvement
  • Coordinating strategic initiatives across the portfolio
  • Monitoring project milestones and deliverables
  • Supporting operational improvements and best practice initiatives
What We're Looking For

Ideally you'll have:

  • At least 12 months' experience in property administration, property management or a related environment

  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
