Job summary

Bevan Brittan LLP is seeking a Projects Solicitor or Associate to join its Commercial and Infrastructure Department, focusing on high-value PFI/PPP contracts across sectors such as Health, Education, Social Care, Police and Custodial, Fire Service, Leisure and Culture, Housing, Highways and more. The role offers opportunities to advise on contract management, expiry, and post-PFI service arrangements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years PQE in relevant field.
• Experience with complex public infrastructure contracts.
• Awareness of PFI/PPP delivery.
• Ability to deliver clear, precise advice with senior support.
• Strong technical foundation and ability to handle complex issues.
• Commercial, practical approach to legal issues.
• Strong client liaison and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of a range of complex projects and commercial transactions to both public and private sector clients.
• Be involved in the operational management of existing PFI and PPP contracts, including variations and advice on contract interpretation and contract management.
• Engage in advising and supporting clients in respect of PFI/PPP expiry and future service arrangements.
• Work with colleagues across the firm in other specialisms to support our clients on PFI/PPP projects
• Have the opportunity to develop your practice
• Take part in Business Development initiatives and contribute to the ongoing growth of the team
