Job summary

Bevan Brittan LLP in Leeds is seeking a Projects Solicitor or Associate to join our Commercial and Infrastructure Department, focusing on PFI/PPP contract work across sectors such as Health, Education and Housing.

You will support on complex projects, contract management, expiry and handback arrangements, and collaborate with colleagues to grow the practice while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working model in a market-leading firm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ PQE in projects/infrastructure law
• Experience supporting with complex contracts for the delivery of public infrastructure
• Awareness of (or experience in) the delivery of PFI/PPP contracts
• Ability to deliver clear, precise advice, with support from senior team members where appropriate
• Strong technical foundation and an ability to understand and work through complex issues
• Ability to adopt a practical and commercial approach to legal issues
• Ability to liaise effectively with clients and build relationships
• A positive and flexible approach
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of a range of complex PFI/PPP projects for public and private sector clients.
• Provide contract interpretation and contract management guidance on PFI/PPP arrangements.
• Assist with expiry and handback issues and post-PFI service delivery considerations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to support PFI/PPP projects.
