In this role, you will make a vital contribution to creating high-quality, sustainable landscapes that deliver lasting benefits for communities and play a key role in our commitment to accelerate nature recovery. As part of our Land Management team, you will work alongside colleagues from a wide range of professional backgrounds, offering excellent opportunities to collaborate, learn and develop your career. The Countryside and Rights of Way Service works in partnership with private landowners, local communities, local authorities, and government agencies to deliver projects that enhance the environment for both people and wildlife. Our Land Management team has a broad portfolio of work encompassing town centre park regeneration, management of woodlands and nature reserves, chalk river restoration, large-scale tree and hedgerow planting, and the transformation of former railway lines into active travel routes. About the role You will be:
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post (for those whose language is a signed language the provision of a sign language interpreter who speaks English to the necessary standard of fluency will be required).
