Job summary

Red King Resourcing is seeking a landscape architect with a strong design mindset and enthusiasm for delivering change in public realm or urban design projects.

The role values collaboration, client liaison, and the ability to work across scales, from bench design to city-wide strategies, while aiming for Chartered status and professional growth within a UK consultancy.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about design that puts the needs of people and nature first.
  • Flair for design, alongside technical knowledge and experience.
  • Enthusiasm for collaborative working, confidence, and good communication skills.
  • Interested in designing at different scales, from a bespoke park bench and delivering projects on site, to designing new urban quarters and landscape strategies.
  • Qualification in landscape architecture, either working towards or achieved CMLI status, and practical experience within a consultancy environment.
  • Excellent graphic communication skills with an ability to illustrate ideas clearly.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and 3-D design packages; Revit is a distinct advantage.
  • Good experience with all RIBA stages.
  • Experience of working with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Full UK Driving licence.

Job description

We are looking for someone with strong design skills and enthusiasm for delivering the change we need to see. You will have relevant UK qualifications and ideally experience of working in a UK consultancy on public realm or urban design projects. Key requirements are:

  • Interested in designing at different scales, from a bespoke park bench and delivering protects on site, to designing new urban quarters to far-reaching landscape strategies.
  • A qualification in landscape architecture, either working towards or achieved CMLI status, and practical experience within a consultancy environment.
  • Excellent graphic communication skills with an ability to illustrate ideas clearly.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and 3-D design packages- Revit being a distinct advantage.
