Job summary

The Health and Safety Partnership Limited is seeking an experienced Projects Health & Safety Manager to provide expert H&S support across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will work within the Operations and Projects team, primarily around the North and Birmingham corridor, with CDM project experience preferred.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• GradIOSH or equivalent professional membership is desirable.
• ISO Auditing Qualification would be beneficial.
• Full UK Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project procedures comply with health and safety legislation, industry standards and company policies.
• Monitor health and safety performance across engineering, energy and facilities management projects.
• Provide expert health and safety advice and support to project and operational teams.
• Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Oversee the safe management of subcontractors and project activities.
• Lead investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses, implementing preventative measures.
• Prepare and present health and safety reports and performance data to senior management.
• Deliver health and safety inductions, training and awareness programmes.
• Support project teams in achieving health and safety objectives while promoting best practice.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to drive a positive health and safety culture.

Education

NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate

NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)

GradIOSH or equivalent membership

ISO Auditing Qualification (beneficial)

Full UK Driver's Licence
