Job summary

Single Homeless Project in London (SHP) is seeking a Project Worker in Camden to support individuals facing multiple challenges, from mental and physical health issues to substance use and trauma, helping them move toward independence.

You will work within a Biopsychosocial framework and a Psychologically Informed Environment, creating safe spaces for recovery and resilience, collaborating with professionals for integrated care.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people facing multiple challenges such as substance use, mental health issues, trauma, or offending histories.
• Ability to carry out assessments, create support plans and manage a caseload tailored to individuals.
• Understanding barriers to independence and skills to help overcome them.

Responsibilities

• Remain calm and effective in crisis, with the confidence to respond safely and constructively.
• Develop tailored support plans, facilitate group activities, and help clients strengthen relationships and independence.
• Champion harm minimisation and recovery while collaborating with a range of professionals to ensure integrated, responsive care.
