Ad Hoc Shifts Available across numerous Homeless Charities!

We work with numerous homeless charities that regularly supply us with shifts. We are looking to expand our Ad hoc list to meet this demand.

Pay: £13.50 + holiday pay = £15.13 or £17 umbrella per hour

We are seeking locum Project Workers to work on an ad hoc basis across Central London, within various homeless hostels. Candidates should be flexible to pick up shifts across all areas of London.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Providing support and guidance to individuals experiencing homelessness.
2. Conducting assessments and supporting the development of support plans.
3. Delivering one-to-one sessions and updating handover notes.
4. Assisting with clients' care plans alongside key workers and attending appointments.
5. Performing light cleaning duties to meet health and safety standards.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Experience in a similar role, with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
2. Compassionate, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships with clients.
3. Experience working with clients with dual diagnoses is essential.
4. Basic IT skills for completing handover notes.
5. Enhanced adult & child DBS check issued within the last 12 months or on the update service.
6. Flexibility to work across all London areas.

Additional Information:

Some clients may have pets, mostly dogs, but all have undergone a risk assessment.

Shifts are 8 hours long, including a 30-minute unpaid break (total 7.5 hours).
