Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Champion health and safety in the workplace by promoting personal safety, challenging unsafe behaviour, and ensuring all reports adhere to company guidelines.
  2. Lead and participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress, identify issues, and support client meetings to monitor ongoing work.
  3. Collaborate with relevant departments to monitor progress and implement flexible solutions to meet deadlines.
  4. Annually review and update the RACI matrix to ensure it aligns with business needs.
  5. Manage live projects professionally by delegating, supporting, motivating, and adhering to company procedures for successful completion.
  6. Support the detailing team to meet client expectations and project deadlines.
  7. Coordinate with operations to ensure achievable lead times and support team efforts.
  8. Ensure project detailers issue accurate construction drawings before delivery to site, including relevant fixing and installation guides.
  9. Monitor and adjust product delivery dates to align with client programmes.
  10. Manage brick requirements by ordering and controlling quantities to prevent delays or discrepancies.
  11. Communicate all cost variations to clients, providing quotes and claims as necessary.
  12. Maintain accurate data on future orders and produce a six-week forecast for production planning, aiming for a six-month forecast.
  13. Control carriage charges and recover unforeseen costs from clients.
  14. Produce reports and presentations detailing project variations and financials.
  15. Manage projects to prevent claims for delays and take accountability for any issues.
  16. Provide basic calculations for products, consulting with structural engineers when needed.
  17. Produce operation and maintenance manuals in collaboration with detailers and engineers.
  18. Respond to technical queries promptly, ensuring high customer service standards.
  19. Attend site and office visits to build customer relationships, resolve technical issues, and develop products, followed by detailed reports.
  20. Promote a customer-first service culture internally and externally.
  21. Ensure regular project progress reports are issued to clients.
  22. Develop and maintain open communication with clients and site representatives.
  23. Document and monitor customer service issues, including additional costs, and provide reports at project completion.
  24. Coach team members and clients through product presentations and training sessions.
  25. Conduct site installation training for customers and ensure project engineers are trained.
  26. Support the office team in exceeding targets and meet performance criteria.
  27. Perform regular inductions, reviews, and line management for direct reports.
  28. Uphold the 6 Agreements of Collaboration and adapt to market changes with additional tasks as required.
Key Skills and Competencies
