Compliance and Risk Team Manager - Impartiality & Risk

About the role

Our Compliance and Risk (C&R) team within Regulatory Services is looking for a Compliance and Risk Team Manager to ensure BSI acts impartially and with due regard to any conflicts of interests to maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to champion impartiality and risk management
• Lead the development and implementation of work programmes to increase capacity, capability, and efficient work processes to facilitate safeguards for impartiality and risk management arrangements
• Work across all Compliance and Risk business areas including medical devices, artificial intelligence, and product certification
• Champion the importance of regulatory compliance, impartiality, and effective risk management across all areas of the business, upholding all relevant standards

Qualifications

• Degree level education in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
• Extensive work experience in regulation, product development, healthcare/clinical sectors
• High knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and awareness of AI, medical devices, and IVD regulations
• Strong understanding of risk management processes and standards
• Management and communication skills, proactive attitude
