Job summary

Unknown main contractor in Ipswich is seeking a Project Surveyor to take commercial responsibility on education and commercial new-build projects up to £40m. You will work with procurement, site teams and management to ensure successful delivery and robust commercial control.

Ideal candidates are commercially driven, well-organised and able to own projects while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The role offers flexible working and a salary up to £80,000 plus package.

Qualifications

• Experience as Project Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor.
• Proven ability to manage commercial aspects from procurement to final account.
• Experience on education and commercial new-build projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage project commercial from procurement to final account.
• Procurement and management of subcontract packages.
• Prepare and manage valuations, variations and payment applications.
• Cost reporting and forecasting.
• Manage subcontractor accounts and payments.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Provide commercial and contractual advice to the project team.
• Support successful project delivery and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare and agree final accounts.
