Wates Group has an opportunity for a Project Surveyor in Sheffield, focusing on a long-term domestic refurbishment programme. The ideal candidate will manage project teams, finances, and client relationships, contributing to project success while maintaining adherence to Wates' high standards and contractual obligations. We have an opportunity for a Project Surveyor to join Wates with our Wates Living Space Planned Maintenance team in Sheffield, working on a domestic refurbishment programme for one of our key clients. This role is on a long-term framework with a potential 9-year duration.
Key Accountabilities will include:
To be successful, you will have relevant commercial skills and experience, including the ability to maximize value recovery, control costs, and manage cash flow, along with a good understanding of financial reports and final accounts.
You should also be a confident communicator, capable of forming and developing relationships with clients, project surveyors, design teams, and supply chain partners. A commitment to leading and developing commercial site teams is essential.
The role will be based between the office and site, with some home working.
